And with our first. The last couple of days I have just felt really sad and not wanting to do much at all. I am just really emotional. I was like this at the begging of the pregnancy to and then I had a bit of depression then too. I was wondering is this going to effect me after I have the baby? Like for the postpartum like will I go into a depression?

Thanks for the answers in advance

I felt strange symptoms after childbirth?

I have a lovely baby girl on 17th November 2009. Since then, I keep experiencing various strange feelings like dizziness, nausea and the rest, people told me they will soon be over that its just a “baby blue” thing, that withing 6 weeks of my delivery, everything will come back to normal. My baby is now 3 months plus, and those strange feelings is no better, infact, its evern worse. Of recent, I always felt, great burning sensation all over my body. Sometimes, I will feel so weak I cant even life my hands up for a few seconds, those weird pregnancy symptoms I experienced then come back again and is evern worse. In an hour, I will feel like I want to die, in another hour, I felt just fine as if nothing ever happened. What could be wrong with me, are these suppose to be my hormones going back to normal or is there something else. And dont tell me it could be post partum depression because I love my baby alot, but my feelings makes me not to have much time for her. I experienced dizziness, imbalance, and sometimes I cry for no reason. Sometimes also, i feel like i should just die, but no, looking at my pretty angel in the face makes me think again. And for your info, I started seeing my period on 7th of February 2010, and have unprotected sex on friday 12th of february and on monday 15th of february, so I dont know if these symptoms could be related to it also. Please your help will be highly appreciated. God bless you all for your answers

How common is depression during and after pregnancy?

If a woman has an abortion, would she suffer the same postpartum symptoms that a normal pregnancy would? It would seem to make sense with the hormones and all. Anyone have any insight to this?

Ok so heres the deal, me and my girlfriend had sex last saturday, i wore a condom and everything and even pulled out as i came. I dont think there was anything with the condom because as i pulled it off there was a very tight suction (like it was air tight and hard to pull off), but anyways less than four days later she started throwing up and feeling nausea, and now she has me all worried cause shes been feeling sick ever since that fourth day, we took a pregnancy test about 2 days ago and the results came back negative, this was the first time that we ever had sex and she was a virgin. im a little concerned because she says one second that she thinks shes pregnant and then another second shes not. she says shes feeling nauseous all day long. She was taking medication for depression and anxiety but she stopped almost right after she had sex because “if she was pregnant” she didnt want to hurt anything. its now been 8 days and she still feels sick from the fourth day. Does anyone think its way too soon for her to be showing signs that she is pregnant? Im really concerned and on edge. Shes do for her period within the next few days but im just stressin out.
