When a woman has a baby, it is often assumed that she will be happy and joyous at the arrival of her newborn child and everything will be just wonderful. Some women may find this to be the case, but for others, the reality can be very different from this expectation. I’m about 8 weeks pregnant and i keep loosing weight, i weigh 91lbs. Im not getting sick, i just dont think im eating the right foods and im on medication for depression. I really need to gain some weight, what sort of foods do you suggest?

What can i do for depression during pregnancy?

Ever since my Fiancee left for AIT i’ve been uncontrollably sad. I cant get anything done because i cant seem to stop crying. I barely even get out of bed anymore. About 3 days ago i found out that he is being restarted and wont be home for another 6 weeks. He would be comming home on the 18th. Not now. I just dont know what to do anymore. I cant handle feeling like this.

What can they do for depression during pregnancy?

I’m so unhappy. I’m not in the best relationship. I stay very very stressed out. I’m 22 years old. I’ve been with my boyfriend for 4 years. I’m 25 weeks pregnant. Theres rumors going around he’s been cheating on me. I feel like I can’t deal with life and I feel like too much is expected of me. And I don’t feel like I can deal with raising two children alone. :( (We have a 2 year old, too.)

i’m 10 weeks pregnant and insanely depressed.. it’s really bad.. i will see a doctor about it, but in the mean time would like to know if anyone was able to effectively treat their depression during pregnancy.. are there any meds you can take? i’m not just a touch sad, i’m severely depressed..
